NOTE: the Planning Board meeting for the Hudson Ridge Wellness Center project has been postponed until December 7th. Check back for more details.

What are they hiding?

Cortlandt, there is a questionable developer in Teatown that won’t tell us their REAL plans for the Hudson Ridge Wellness Center Development.

Cortlandt is NOT this developer’s priority

According to the Journal News, the developer described “a high-end facility where clients, most of them referrals and corporate referrals, would stay for treatment…” That means this facility will be for elites from out of town – not our community.

The Math
Doesn’t Add Up

The developer claims they will build a “luxury” 92-bed substance abuse center, but neighbors have discovered major flaws that prove the project can’t work as planned. We’ve asked them for basic floor plans to prove the project isn’t a Trojan Horse and they’ve repeatedly refused. What are they trying to hide? Ask our local officials to help protect Cortlandt and demand the developer come clean – because this developer is proposing plans that are simply impossible.

Tortured Transparency

This developer continues to hide information from the public and the Town – they won’t even release floor plans for their project. Cortlandt must demand transparency.

Secret Access Road

Neighbors uncovered an agreement for a secret access road that was hidden from the town – violating state law and town code. This only raises more questions.

Good Neighbors?

This developer has repeatedly ignored community concerns, making clear they don’t intend to be a good neighbor. They don’t have any experience running this type of facility and Cortlandt shouldn’t be their experiment.

Teatown’s Environment

This community is a unique, ecologically diverse area that impacts Ossining and New York City’s water supply. Teatown is the lungs of Westchester County and provides water for the entire region. We can’t put it at risk.

Serving Cortlandt?

This developer has made clear serving Cortlandt is not their priority. This is a profit-making venture with the goal of making money – not serving our community.

Can We Trust Them?

This developer has no experience running substance abuse facilities and won’t even reveal who’s behind the project or provide basic floor plans. How can we trust them to protect our community?

Steamrolling
Cortlandt

We’re happy to work with the Town and a reasonable, trustworthy developer on a project designed to help Cortlandt residents, but this developer doesn’t have our community in mind.

Instead, the developer is refusing to collaborate openly with our Town and our residents, putting our neighborhood and our environment at risk.

Don’t let them get away with it.
